Brooklyn Spirits is a book I’m quite proud to have worked on for a multitude of reasons. Aside from it being beautifully shot by Max Kelly, the authors, Peter Thomas Fornatale and Chris Wertz and I go way back.  Way, way back.  It seems like the 15 years we’ve known each other were one big scrimmage in preparation to make this book.  Chris and I were bartenders together at the Greenwich Village institution, The Blind Tiger and our bar provided a larger living room for Pete to hang than his apartment over on W. 10th St.  Many drinks poured and consumed; marriages, babies, moves and job changes, here we are with this pretty book all these years later.  Thanks boys for bringing me on to style such a cool project!
